Your role is to make our client’s lawns green and beautiful without cutting a blade of grass! Ideal Candidates for these roles will have specific experience running spray and application equipment. This is a working position that requires extensive field time diagnosing problems and treating properties and often involves heavy lifting of hoses/equipment.
Your responsibilities will include: * Monitor, diagnose and treat insect, disease, weeds, physiological and cultural conditions on client lawns * Select the most appropriate product or treatment to be utilized for each problem * Complete diagnostic reports, interact with clients in a professional manner, and provide comprehensive, thorough information to create an ideal environment for optimum health of landscapes * Maintain excellent customer relations
The Ideal Candidate will have:
1. Degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Forestry, Turf, Biology, Plant Pathology or Plant Physiology or equivalent experience 2. Knowledge of turf applications and treatment 3. Ability to diagnose problems that are physiologically based and/or stress related; anticipate what will occur under specific conditions (i.e. soil conditions, climate); identify stresses and proactively implement solutions 4. Must be able to work independently and be self-directed. 5. Excellent communication and customer service skills 6. Possess a driver’s license for your state 6. Able to obtain or already possess appropriate Pesticide Applicator's License(s) for your state/region 7. Exceptional POSITIVE "CAN DO" attitude!
